These photographs were taken on June 17, 2010. Three tornados touched down in Steele County, Minnesota, part of a an EF-3 storm that packed winds up to 160 mph. What you see in the pictures is what's left of a 2,400 sqare foot house that was hit by one of the tornados.
Paraphrasing the homeowner, all that remained of her acreage was her new Showplace Cabinetry and countertops. She also reports that she will rebuild...using the same products for her kitchen.
"All the drawers and roll-out trays still work just fine too," she noted. "Just missing a few doors"
The best part of the story we saved for last: None of the home's residents was physically injured.
